Winterlicious, Toronto’s culinary celebration presented by American Express, will offer two programs, the Winterlicious Culinary Event Series and the Prix Fixe Promotion, from January 25 to February 7.

Toronto food lovers continue to embrace the Winterlicious and Summerlicious programs produced by the City of Toronto. In the years since the two programs’ inception, participating restaurants have served 3.7 million meals during the promotion and have generated more than $166 million in economic activity for the local culinary industry.

2013 Culinary Event Series
The Winterlicious Culinary Event Series features 14 one-of-a-kind ticketed culinary experiences featuring diverse cuisine hosted by some of Toronto’s finest restaurants and venues. These gastronomic events draw inspiration globally – from Scotland’s highlands to Paris’s bistros to Japan’s tea houses. Local fare, theatre and cocktails are also in the culinary event lineup this year.

2013 Prix Fixe Promotion
For 2013, 191 restaurants city-wide are participating in the Winterlicious Prix Fixe Promotion.  Three-course prix fixe lunch menus are priced at $15, $20 and $25, and dinner is priced at $25, $35 and $45.

Restaurants start taking reservations for the prix fixe promotion on Thursday, January 10, 2013.

Reservations are strongly recommended and are to be made directly with the participating dining establishment. The list of participating restaurants is available at http://www.toronto.ca/winterlicious.

Visitors to the official Winterlicious website http://www.toronto.ca/winterlicious can locate and sort restaurants by price, neighbourhood and cuisine, and share their list through social media.
