Survey: Off-leash hours within City of Toronto Parks

On November 9, 2012, the Parks and Environment Committee requested that Parks, Forestry and Recreation, in consultation with Municipal Licencing & Standards, investigate the feasibility of enacting off-leash hours in parks within the City of Toronto and report back to Parks and Environment Committee.

As a result, the City of Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation Division is conducting public opinion research on the issue of enacting dogs off-leash courtesy hours in City of Toronto parks.

All residents of the City of Toronto are invited to participate in the survey which should take approximately 5-7 minutes to complete.  The online survey provides residents with an opportunity to provide their input regarding dogs off-leash areas and proposed amendments to the People, Parks and Dogs Off Leash Policy in a confidential and safe manner.

We are asking that you share the following link with your constituents and encourage residents of the City of Toronto to participate.  The survey will be available until May 31st, 2013.
