King St. and Wilson Park 'Bump Out' Community Meeting

Join me for a consultation with community members and city planners to review plans for the installation of planters to beaytify the King Street ‘Bump Out’ at Wilson Park Road.

The proposal includes the addition of 3-5 over-sized free-standing plant pots. The pots will be planted with a variety of hardy, drought resistant plant material offering interest throughout the seasons. The pots will be located in a way which allows for pedestrian circulation on the sidewalk next to the curb as well as adjacent to the low retaining wall on the north side of the bump out. In order to accommodate the need for TTC to access the existing pole, pots will be movable.

When : Thursday March 1st, 2012 – 6:00 PM

Where: North/West Corner of King St. and Wilson Park Rd.
