This is an update to Friday’s Post.
We have received notice that the Dufferin Street bridge is now open to pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge is still closed to vehicular traffic.
The emergency repairs contractor removed the panels of the temporary fencing on the Dufferin Street bridge over the weekend. The remaining panels were removed this morning at 8:00 am. There is now a 6 m opening on each side of the bridge. The water barricades still remain to help prevent vehicular traffic from crossing the bridge.
