Work Description and Purpose
Dorval Road will be closed between Edna Avenue and Bloor Street West for construction at the Keele Yard. Construction will be completed in approximately 8 months and will include structural rehabilitation and waterproofing a portion of the
yard infrastructure. Work will also include relining the water main below the concrete laneway. This work is required to provide fire sprinklers to the storage tracks. The Dorval Community Garden and the parking lot will be fully reinstated on completion of the project. The non-native, invasive trees along the laneway have been removed to accommodate the construction of a new retaining wall. This work has been coordinated with the City of Toronto Urban Forestry unit.
Traffic and Parking Details
Thoroughfare vehicular access will be restricted on Dorval Road between Edna Ave and Bloor Street. Pedestrian access through this area will be maintained at all times.
Full access through the laneway will be interrupted for approximately three weeks during this period. Further details will follow to those property owners/businesses who may be impacted.
