High Park Spring Planting

Grenadier Cafe, 200 Parkside Drive, Toronto, ON

Join the High Park Stewards for our annual spring planting, in the Tablelands behind the Grenadier Cafe. We hope to plant many grasses and shrubs, so lots of hands are needed. Another group will work on the boulevard beds in front of the cafe.

Meet us in front of the Grenadier Cafe at 10:30 am. Tools will be provided.

Swansea Historical Society Annual Guided Walking Tour – June 8

This year’s annual Swansea Historical Society walking tour is scheduled for Saturday, June 8, starting at 2 pm in the parkette behind the Runnymede Library and finishing in High Park.  The library is located at 2178 Bloor Street West, 2 short blocks east of Runnymede Road (across from the No Frills parking lot).  For more details, see http://swanseahistoricalsociety.ca/events .

The weather forecast looks very promising for Saturday.  SHS hopes to see you there. There is no charge to participate, and all are welcome. Feel free to invite family and friends.
