High Park Stewards Weed Whacking
Posted on June 19, 2017
The High Park Stewards want to make sure that the native plants in High Park have a fighting chance to grow by removing the invasive species that compete for space and resources. They are also working on the Boulevard Beds and will need about 5 people for that activity.
Meet in front of the Grenadier Restaurant at 10:30 am and go to the site from there to work until 12:30. For your protection, (heat, insects and skin irritants for some) please dress with long sleeves and pants, closed shoes and socks, a hat and bring water and sunscreen. They will supply tools and gloves. Everyone is welcome.
