New Multi-Bike Parking – Hi-Roller Pilot Project – 3 Locations In Ward 14

Posted on November 23, 2012

The new multi-bike parking ‘Hi-Roller’ pilot project has three sites in Ward 14!

The Hi Roller adds an extra bend to a rolling-style rack providing a much greater degree of bicycle support than its purely vertical counterpart. This rack uses thick pipe construction and allows for one of the wheels and frame to be secured using a u-style bike lock. These multi-bike parking racks increase bike parking capacity on the City Streets.

The three locations in Ward include:

14 Roncesvalles Avenue

1303 Queen Street West

100 Block of Jefferson Avenue (TBD)

“Please test the locations and provide us your feedback in the next month. If the pilot is successful, we will be procuring a larger quantity for installation in 2013.

Please send your feedback, questions, and concerns to Carly Hinks chinks@toronto.ca or Lisa Ing at Ling@toronto.ca “
