Colborne Lodge invites you, your family and friends to join them for their 175th anniversary Open House celebration on November 28th.  “On December 23rd, 1837 John and Jemima Howard moved from their rented home near King and Simcoe to the picturesque cottage John had designed for them at the south end of Lot 37 in Humber Bay.   They called the property High Park because of the height of land at the south end of the property, and the cottage was named Colborne Lodge is honour of John’s patron, John Colborne the Lieutenant-Governor of Upper Canada.

The Lodge will be decorated for a Victorian Christmas and 19th-century seasonal refreshments will be served by the cozy winter hearth.

The Open House is free and runs from 5 – 7:30 p.m.   Please share this invitation with your family and friends, the more the merrier the celebration!”
