Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is required! Come connect with your neighbours and help build your community, it’s better to meet than tweet! The Association is run by volunteers and funded by annual membership dues of $10; memberships are now due for the 2014/2015 session. The membership form can be found on our website www.thewestbend.ca and payment can be made at a meeting or by dropping off or mailing the completed form and fee to The Chair WBCA , 33 Kenneth Ave Toronto ON M6P 1J1. 11 Division Community Safety Police Officers re traffic and community safety. This is your chance to raise any concerns you may have.
Other Meeting Topics
We will also be discussing:
– How to improve and beautify the Dupont/Dundas/Annette intersection; the WBCA is working on this with University of Toronto engineering students and we invite your input and ideas.
– Local construction and condominium developments.
– Traffic, speeding and pedestrian and cyclist safety issues.
– GO Transit work in our area and the noise walls installation, the movement of hazardous goods through the West Toronto Diamond and the Spring 2015 remediation plans for the Dorval and Railside gardens.
-Toronto Ward Boundary Review.
–Any issues that members wish to raise.

The WBCA’s goal is to reflect and express the interests of our local community and interact with all levels of government to ensure that our collective voice is heard. Like the Fire Department, we aim to be there when you need us!
Membership is open to all, although voting and executive positions are open only to paid up members. However, anyone can attend our meetings whether a paid up member or not.
