A Business Improvement Area (BIA) is an association of commercial property owners and tenants within a defined area who work in partnership with the City to create thriving, competitive, and safe business areas.  The 5 following  BIAs are located within Ward 4 boundaries.

Bloor by the Park BIA  (bloorbythepark.com)
Nestled along Bloor Street West just east of picturesque High Park between Keele and Roncesvalles, Bloor by the Park most closely mirrors Toronto’s diverse mix of cultures.

The BIA is largely made up of retail shops and restaurants, including bakeries, delicatessens, tea rooms and coffee shops. The BIA organizes the Bloor West Street Fest and is home to the annual Ukrainian Festival featuring food and performances by dancers and musicians.
