*Timeline is subject to change.

The City of Toronto and the developers of the Wallace Walk Condominium will complete work on the Wallace Avenue Pedestrian Bridge from the week after Labour Day to Mid-December 2016.

The Developers of Wallace Walk will install a new staircase at the east end of the bridge, the City will complete repairs to ensure the rest of the bridge meets current bridge design codes.

This City work is part of the Council-Approved 2016 Capital Works budget and will ensure that the bridge continues to provide the important link to Dundas West Street for the local community. Efforts to keep the bridge open have been part of the planning work in construction delivery and the bridge repairs and stair installation will be delivered in phases. Despite these efforts there will be some periods of closure on the bridge.
