Construction activities on the Dufferin Street Bridge will continue throughout the rest of December, with the exception of Christmas Day, when there will be no activity.
Dufferin Road is scheduled to reopen to vehicles and pedestrians on December 30, 2016.
There will also be a concrete pour this Thursday December 22, 2016. Similar to the other pours, crews will arrive on site at 5 a.m. to begin prep work, pump trucks are expected to arrive at approximately 6 a.m., and concrete trucks at 7 a.m. There will be some lighting required, but it will be directed away from nearby residences. Those living nearby may experience some noise and/or lighting pollution associated with this work.
The project is still on time and scheduled to wrap up by spring 2017.
