Late summer is perfect for viewing native species like goldenrods, asters, and native grasses. It is also a great time for planting native perennials, like smooth rose, cylindrical blazing star, cup plant, Joe Pye weed, black-eyed Susan, butterfly milkweed, harebell, wild bergamot, sky-blue aster, cardinal flower, great blue lobelia; grasses, like Indian, bottlebrush, little and big bluestem, Canada wild rye; and shrubs, like wild raspberry.

Meet the team in front of the Grenadier Restaurant at 10:30 am, and go together to the site. All tools will be provided.
