Heritage Talk @ Lambton House – Recent Archaeological Projects – March 14, 2019

This Heritage Talk is hosted by Heritage York and will take place at Lambton House on March 14, 2019. The talk by Dena Doroszenko, Senior Archaeologist with Ontario Heritage Trust, will focus on several recent projects:

1) The Spadina Museum archaeology program in Toronto;

2) Archaeology at the Niagara Apothecary, Niagara-on-the-Lake and

3) Archaeological and archival research of the Ashbridge Estate, Toronto.

These projects demonstrate the variety of fieldwork that takes place across the province which includes public archaeology, research and mitigating restoration work.

Looking for something to do during March Break? The library offers a slew of special activities for kids, teens, and the whole family.

Highlights include magic and science camps as well as puppet shows and robotics for kids. And dozens of hands-on workshops exclusively for teens including sushi making, hip hop and photography classes.
