Choice Properties will be holding a pre-application meeting for 2280 Dundas St. West- Loblaw site.

This will be an opportunity to review details of proposed plans for the site. A Question and Answer session will follow.

Councillor Perks and City Planning staff will be in attendance.

Place:    Auditorium, Bishop Morrocco/Thomas Merton Secondary School , 1515 Bloor St West.

Exhibition Place Walking Tour

The walking tour called “Exploring Exhibition Place through the Eyes of the Community” is a 1.5-2 hours walking tour of the Exhibition Place grounds led by Bruce Van Dieten, a member of the community. It will touch on various architectural and historical highlights of the site. Tours will begin at the Princes’ Gates.

Tours will take place at 1pm on the following days (all Sundays):

  • April 15, 2018
  • May 20, 2018
  • June 3, 2018
  • September 16, 2018
  • October 21, 2018
  • November 11, 2018
  • December 16, 2018
  • July/August: tentative (Dates TBA)

Greenest City Hosts Tree For Me

What is Tree For Me: Tree For Me is a community-based partnership that makes it easy for Toronto residents to get no-cost native trees for their yards. Community groups in neighbourhoods across Toronto will host tree matching and giveaway events that teach residents how to plant and care for their trees. Together, we’re working towards building a greener Toronto. Tree For Me events help put more trees in our yards, more trees in our communities, and more trees in our city.
